Brain health education with AR game

Really interesting project of ours was published few weeks ago. It is an augmented reality game for brain health education organisation Aivoliitto Ry. With this augmented reality experience and game goal is to reach, especially younger adult men – so naturally new tech (AR game) and way to do things is an important thing when considering this segment. The project will be launched in October 2018 – we will update this post after that.

Overall AR has much longer dwell times and higher engage rates than any other digital media. We are happy to provide more information about the statistics and overall situation of AR market

Augmented reality in guides and maps

Augmented reality in guides and maps

Quite often you run into some classic signs in different places around cities or venues. Imagine if those signs could not only be digital but also with dynamic updates. Signs can naturally also be based on location and maps so you pretty much don’t even have to have the physical sign. But in many cases there are signs and that’s actually good: use multiple languages, bring more information, show prices, distances or anything you like with AR.

We tested one of these in city of Salo Finland and created fully dynamic web based update platform for solutions like this. Ask for more!

Successfull AR game campaing

The first augmented reality (AR) game campaign in public transport was a great success and it brought joy to thousands of people.
The family company Leipomo Rosten Oy (bakery) wanted to stand out from the crowd when marketing its new seed drops and did something that nobody else had done before. Normally the back of the bus seats, traditional campaign stickers are static, but in this case stickers were an interactive portal to the digital world and a fun game. In the game users try to collect as many product packages as possible. Naturally, users were able to follow their success on realtime scoreboard.

The AAVA AR application was launched during this campaign a total of 22,600 times. Huge number of unique gameplay was generated: 81,648 games were played!

Multiuser AR systems: how to?

Multiuser AR systems: how to?
The multiuser AR system is something that we have done already for some time. At the moment there are several ways to do multiuser or multiplayer augmented reality systems. There is just something really engaging and cool about multiuser AR. It is real life, sci-fi at its best! We strongly believe that multiuser systems in AR will become common in next years, especially in gaming, product development & manufacturing and learning.

With our systems users can really interact in same view or just share a view. Gaming is fun in same AR view, but you can also play in AR in different locations. Imagine your best friend who is living in another city as you and you share the same interest in the AR robot battle game. No problem, you can play against each others with cloud service! That’s cool. That also allows several use cases for example, learning and maintenance. Share AR view from different locations. Like VR but much easier.

We will shortly tell you more about possibilities.
